Is Network Marketing a pyramid?

All companies have a 'pyramid' structure. If you look at the organization chart for any bank, educational institution, major corporation, or even government bureaus, you will se a pyramid structure. There a few people at the top and it branches down and spreads out as it works its way toward the bottom. There is nothing wrong with the 'pyramid structure' itself.

The problems come in when the organization is a 'pyramid scheme'. A pyramid scheme is illegal. It is where all the money is being made from signing up other people, with little or no real product ever being sold or delivered. While some network marketing companies have fallen into the category of 'pyramid schemes' , you must look for companies that are not.

I have tried network marketing before and I have not had any success. Why should I try another one?

The restaurant analogy is a good one to use here. Let's say you went to a restaurant last night and the food was horrible. The bread was stale, the main dish was bland. Even the desert was horrible! And the server was lousy. In addition, you were overcharged for the terrible food and poor service. Now, just because you had a bad experience at that one particular restaurant, are you going to give up going to all restaurants forever?

Why is Network Marketing a Good Fit for Seniors?

Many seniors get to retirement age and discover they haven't been able to save enough over the years to cover their monthly needs. A Network Marketing company can offer an opppornity to earn supplemental income. And unlike a job, it can be worked part time making it a great fit for active senior lifestyles.

How much can I make in Network Marketing?

The amount of money you will make in Network Marketing is solely determined by your own efforts. This is no different that any other business. If you work seriously, for an extended period of time building this business, you will make money. On the other hand, if you do not commit to this business, and do not work it diligently you will not make any money.

Some people work their Network Marketing business a few hours a week and make a few hundred to a few thousand extra dollars a month. There are tens of thousands of others who work their Network Marketing business fulltime. You should evaluate for yourself what you wish to get out of a business. Set your sights and your efforts on achieving that amount. Anything is possible and it is up to you to decide where you fit in.

I'm too busy; where will I find the time for a home business?

That alone is reason enough to pursue a home business. Clearly, you are too busy either working too many hours at your current job(s) trying to maintain your lifestyle or you’re working too many hours at your job(s) just trying to get by.

Take a step back and look seriously at why you are too busy to get involved in a business that could ultimately give you both time freedom and financial freedom. If you do not do something to change the current situation, you will never have the luxury of time.

By becoming a Network Marketing business owner, it does not mean that you now have taken on a new 'fulltime job' and must drastically alter your daily activity. These are ventures that can be started part time, even if that means you can only give a few hours per week to your business. If you work your business on a regular basis, you will make money.
