Network Marketing For Seniors

Network Marketing For Seniors

The Baby Boomers aren't babies anymore. Baby Boomers are defined as those people who were born between the years 1946 and 1964. In 2006, the first Baby Boomers turned 60 and soon they will be hitting retirement age. I should know, I'm one! I was born in 1953. Many of my generation will find themselves without as much income or cash flow as they need to get by in their senior years. This may occur in part because of poor financial planning or too much reliance on Social Security - a system that seems now in jeopardy.

It's estimated that many seniors will continue to work as long they are able to do so. This is where a good Network Marketing opportunity can be very desirable for seniors. Network Marketing can be a business that can be easily built from a home office and on a part time basis. Depending on the Network Marketing opportunity, a senior can make a part time income or even a full time income and supplement or even replace their retirement funds.

Furthermore, it's natural for seniors to network together. Every community has a Senior Center that sponsors events that bring hundreds of seniors together. What better way to network a product and an opportunity than with a group of like-minded individuals?

Lastly, seniors - particularly the Baby Boomer generation - are very interested in health and wellness products. A lot of network marketing opportunities are centered around such products and they make a natural fit for these people. Products they can personally use and get passionate about.

Even if the products aren't "Lotions or Potions", the field of Network Marketing is wide open to senior people. Furthermore, the job market is growing hostile for practically everyone, but certainly for older people. For those seniors who don't really want to retire and want to continue to do something to earn extra money, but find the job market too difficult, a Network Marketing business may be their answer.
