Mobile Network Marketing Businesses

There are many advantages to a network marketing business and one of them is mobility. Mobility, the ability to pick up and move your business elsewhere, is important particularly to seniors. Many seniors live a somewhat nomadic lifestyle. This is particularly true of seniors who live full time in Recreational Vehicles (RVs). A lot of seniors spend the winters in some warmer place and move north for the summers to be near family and loved ones. These are referred to as "Snowbirds".

Network Marketing is one of the few businesses that can be moved around. This is because most work in Network Marketing (when done correctly) can be done over the phone or the internet. A senior only needs to keep a small notebook computer and all her/his records on it when traveling around. Here are a few tips to keep in mind for seniors interested in a mobile network marketing business.

Inventory - Some network marketing companies require you to buy some inventory. This is not ideal for a mobile network marketing business even if the senior people only move twice a year as in the case of snowbirds. Make sure to learn about such requirements ahead of time. In an RV, you will not be wanting to lug around inventory, even in small amounts. Stick with a network marketing business that doesn't force you to buy inventory.

Wireless Phone Service - Your wireless phone service will be core to your mobile network marketing business. It will be your connection to you support team, your leads, your customers, and your downline. Make sure to chose a wireless service that has a large enough territory that you don't pay extra when you move around. An example of a wireless service that serves nearly the entire United States is Lightyear Wireless - MyWirelessRep. It covers all but the most remote areas in the U.S.

Internet Access - You will need internet access in the places you go. Much of your work will be done via email or over the web. When you reserve RV park space, make sure to check in advance to see if they offer "hot spot" internet access. This is wireless internet access found in most airports, hotels, and other public places. Sometimes it can be pricey, so make sure you know how much your internet access will cost in a mobile network marketing business.

With a little planning and forethought, you can take your network marketing business with you when it's time to move south for the winter.
