Slay that Beast called Doubt

With a home based network marketing business, you are like a brave warrior. You quit your job (or maybe you got laid off and could not find another job) and then turned to network marketing as a business venture. That takes courage and discipline. But there is one beast that creeps into almost everyone's business when you're not expecting him. He's uninvited and he's unwelcome. His name is Doubt.

Doubt can sneak in at the most unexpected times. Your job as a network marketing warrior is simply to slay that beast. It's not a messy or difficult job. But you do need to be aware of his presence. That beast simply disappears when you slay him. Although he can often return to life and you must slay him over and over again. Doubt for some people is like a beast that won't die.

The good news about the beast of Doubt, is that he will go away once you achieve some level of success. A level where you take a look down and see that beast far below you. He'll look tiny and insignificant from that vantage point. That level is different for everyone, but once success begins to come, the beast will stop his unwelcome visits.

What do you do about the beast of Doubt before you've reached that level of success? The biggest way to invite Doubt in is to associate with or read the writings of negative people. Stay away from those forums or newsgroups where they might be talking down about your company. Perhaps someone didn't work hard enough or perhaps someone didn't work his/her business at all and then goes to these forums to talk trash.

If you read that kind of stuff, you'll invite the beast of doubt in. Conversely, do associate with and read the writings of people who are inspiring and positive about your company. Your upline perhaps or some of their team? The company's website and some of the blogs? This kind of activity will slay the beast.

The best way to guard against the beast is to choose a Network Marketing company you strongly believe in to begin with and then the beast seems smaller. As you achieve more and more success, the beast will become manageable and eventually disappear completely.
